If you want to learn the basics of mindfulness or deepen your mindfulness, compassion, and insight practice, we invite you to read about the following courses offered by Mindfulness Association.
This path offers mindfulness meditation courses for all interested – beginners who want to experience with stream of mindful life as well as those who have already learned basic practices and want to deepen them with compassion for themselves and others. Courses within this path are also the basis for starting the mindfulness and compassion teacher training path.
Mindfulness and compassion meditation as well as insight training are held during 4 weekend meetings throughout the year and are designed to allow participants to learn practices that will settle the mind during regular meditation. It is possible to participate in the first weekend of the course to decide whether to continue at the next meetings.
The Mindfulness Association provides short, 8-week courses to anyone who wants to take a shorter time and systematically learn the basics of meditating mindfulness or compassion in a group.
Mindfulness Based Living Course (MBLC) is consisting of 8 weekly, two-hour mentoring sessions that are part of the Mindfulness Yearly Mindfulness Training Program. The course also includes a practice day. This course is for beginners, it is not required to have experience in Mindfulness practice.
The Compassion Based Living Course (CBLC) is also an 8-week course, which is based on the resources of evolutionary psychology and derives from the Buddhist tradition. The core of compassion is the sensitivity to the difficulties we experience and to the difficulties in others’ lives, and the desire to relieve suffering, to develop and to find happiness. The course lasts 8 weeks and also includes a practice day. It is dedicated to anyone who has previously attended mindfulness courses such as MBLC, MBSR or other comprehensive mindfulness training.
